A Booster Pump is used to increase water pressure in RO systems, buildings, homes, and industrial setups. Over time, these pumps can wear out or develop faults that require repair or servicing to restore optimal performance.
Step-by-Step Repair Process
- • Turn off power and water supply
- • Ensure the pump is completely depressurized
- • Check electrical connections and capacitor
- • Look for visible leaks or damage
- • Test motor with a multimeter
- • Remove cover and disconnect wiring
- • Take out motor, impeller, seals, and bearings
- • Replace worn or damaged components: Impeller, Mechanical seal, Bearings, Shaft or capacitor
- • Refit all components properly
- • Restore power and water
- • Prime pump (remove air), test pressure and flow
- • Monitor for leaks, noise, or vibrations
